NFT industry is in experimentation stage. It's okay to experiment and fail quite a few times. But there are people in the industry with sole purpose to rug. And that's what sucks.
But as Zeneca Said, "Execution risk is made far less risky if you bet on people with a proven record of executing well." I have huge respect for people in this category and will always have.
As always, my favorite read of the week! At The Fabricant, we have been in the digital fashion/ nft roller-coaster since 2018. It has been quite a ride! Often navigating on instinct and conviction rather than numbers. Learning from the failures, with no time to proper celebrate success as it is all going soooo fast!
The current moment of the market paradoxal gives a certain degree of piece. Enables time for reflection and contemplation. We are still bullish on what we set ourselves to do - create a new model for the fashion industry based on digital wearables - and more positive than ever!
My own two cents of wisdom to navigate this period:
1. “Know where you are going” - our vision never changed but oh boy, the way to get there…a continuous twisted path :)
2. “Run your own race…fast” - any runner that tries to keep checking competition will run slower. Speed is everything. Try things out, adapt and keep moving!
Exciting to see who will be crossing the finish line among all well fit (and not do well fit) web3 projects out there! I’m going for gold 😜
Gm gm Mr Bhasin!! Understandably , you are NOT able to tell us what to buy. However, if YOU had extra funds, what are you "eyeballing" to add to one of your wallets. Myself speakin, I just placed Andre Alexis Friendship Bracelets on my fave list, also Lil Pudgys, Official Beanz, Potatoz, Bored Kennel, Meebits, you get the picture, im lookin at jpgs under 1.5 eth. What is currently catching your eye??
For me it would be early Art Blocks Curated collections, The Memes by 6529, Editions from some of the top artists (xcopy/grant yun/ACK/claire silver/0xdgb/etc). For the PFP side of things, my two favourite ecosystems out there are Pudgy Penguins and DeGods/y00ts. Luca and Frank are built different imo.
Spam up the comments section? I was responding to the article on how our NFT project bucks the trends of the failing NFT marketplace. How is that spam?
Everything Zeneca stated as problems of the marketplace were exactly the problems we aimed to solve with Meta Gold Miners Club. It’s in our pitch deck.

Yeah experimentation is necessary, rugging... is not!
Absolutely! Thanks a lot for this Interesting Letter. Loved it, Zeneca!

Hi Adriana! Good to hear from you - hope you're well :)
Thanks for adding your two cents of wisdom - I totally agree with both points.
Having alignment of vision is so incredibly important!
Thanks Zeneca🙏🏼

Awesome! Thanks for the reminder! 6529 had slipped my mind. Under 1 eth is my price range! Definitely adding that punk to my faves wish list!
This is one of the best reads lately! Thank you for your work @Zeneca.
Good stuff, as usual.
You barely touched the surface and blind to so many other factors that have totally screwed up the NFT market, good try 3/10
Wow. Way to spam up the comments section
